- We are just shy of a month from our musical performances of The Wizard of Oz on March 13th, March 14th and March 15th. We cannot wait to show you what we have been working on! Today, you should have received a ticket order form from your child. We will sell out our evening performances. In addition, there is assigned seating so please get the ticket order forms/money back as soon as you can.
In addition, I want to remind parents and guardians of some very important dates moving forward through March. All cast members have the rehearsal schedule in our Google Classroom. They should have shared that with you awhile back, but if they haven’t please ask them to do so. It is also on my website. The dates I am sending are only reminders about some very important, specific dates that have been on our calendar since December, but may have been overlooked.
Saturday March 9th- Tech Rehearsal 9am -4 pm
This is a mandatory rehearsal for all cast, crew and orchestra members. We will be running the show for the first time with all of the technical aspects and our musical pit.
Monday, March 11th and March 12th- 3:45-6pm.
These are our dress rehearsal dates. A second late bus will be offered to students since rehearsal will go until 6pm on both 3/11 and 3/12.
Wednesday, March 13th and Wednesday, March 14th- 6pm
These are the dates of our evening performances. The cast is expected to be at Chute by 6pm for a 7pm performance.
Friday, March 15th- In school performance
This performance is during the school day and is ONLY for our 5th grade feeder schools- Oakton, Walker and Dawes. This performance is not open to the public and there are no tickets available.
Monday, March 17th- Strike 3:45-5pm
All cast will be expected to help with this mandatory strike (clearing of the set, putting away props and costumes etc). Attendance at the strike is mandatory in order to join the cast party, after school on Tuesday, March 18th from 3:45-5pm. - Rehearsal Calendar
